Washington, Atlanta, Minnesota, Green Bay, today

These teams, and there are others all have good organizations, good coaches and great young quarterbacks with a lot of talent to work with. Watching these other teams play is fun to watch, and it will be a long time before the Saints will be relevant again. Sad.

Saints constantly pass on Good QBs. Lamar Jackson and Penix to name a few.

I must have missed the saints drafting ahead of the falcons last season

How is Penix a good QB?

Penix is young QB but he has a good roster around him. Atlanta will be solid team for years.

Currently fielding good team does not equal a good organization…
Atlanta has good prices on concessions at the game and a pretty good roster with a maybe good , not that young, injury flag, rookie QB that is starting over an old average QB they signed to a monster contract this past off season with a recycle head coach and are going to miss the playoffs just like the saints but have a worse draft pick. What makes them a good organization?
Don’t know if I would put minny or Washington in the good organization category either lmao.

You’re mentally retarded for even mentioning Atlanta up there and then doubling down calling their coach good. They’ve missed the playoffs longer than the saints, just signed Cousins to 150 mill, and nobody has any clue what penix is. Made great throws yesterday and then made some of the worst throws I’ve seen all season. Washington a good organization? Where have you been the last 20 years?

Penis has played two games I saw him miss lots of open WRs . Being a Falcon hater I hope they keep him for years. Cousins was a Saint killer.

The coach for Minnesota is pretty damn good

He is, this is Darnold's 4th team

quote:based on what exactly? Morris is a terrible HC, Penix may turn out to be a solid QB but they burnt that luxury of adding talent around him on a rookie QB deal with the cousins contract. They’ve wasted multiple 1st rounds picks on skill players who haven’t lived up to the hype like Pitts. And I still think a guy like Bijan wasn’t worth a top 10 pick. If Penix fails they’re in the same boat New Orleans is in at the moment.
Atlanta will be solid team for years.

Maybe the system is working like it should. The Saints were contnedrs and a few years ago and then began a gradual slide downward. At the same time thse other teams were bottom tier and beban to climb upward and now stoked by young talented quarterbacks. whom they got via high draft positions due to prior failures. Quit pouting and appreciate the almost two decades of being no wors than a middle level team and ofter a top tier team.

You read someone else’s post. I did not mention a team or player by name. You obviously do not comprehend very well.

Better than the shite the Saints has for QBs.
And he’s right. Loomis refuses to draft a QB in the 1st rd.

Haven't drafted one that can play since 1971. After Archie was traded to Houston...
Dave Wilson- decent backup
Stabler- old, with wooden knees
Traded a first for Richard Todd for Christ sakes
Signed Hebert from the USFL
Signed Fourcade from some Muss Bertolino flag football league during the 1987 strike
Signed Wade Wilson
Acquired Jim Everett from the Rams
Drafted Delhomme (consequently was decent enough to get to a SB with Carolina)
Traded for Aaron Brooks
Signed Brees
Signed Dalton and Winston
Signed Carr
Throw in the signings of the the 2 Billy Joe overthrows Heather Shuler, and Jeff Blake. How about drafting Danny Wuerffel? I know there are more , and the list is a tad out of order, but you get the picture. The Saints haven't drafted a QB that can play since 1971. My bad, forgot about Guido Merkens , who was signed too. Steve Walsh?
