Was he though? He was bitter about getting blown the frick out by Reagan in 1980, never got over it and showed himself to be pretty petty.
ETA: clearly a bunch of millennials in this thread who know nothing about Jimmy Carter.
Carter was an incompetent president who engaged in arguably treasonous behavior for decades after he left office.
