I hope so!!! It's beyond time that we do something about it. It's been decade after decade that we've allowed this problem to get where it's at. No doubt enormous amounts of money have been paid to our DC blob to allow this to continue.
We should use our military special forces to systematically take out cartel heads and their operations and DARE Mexico or anyone else to say a fricking word.

If we fight in any wars, it needs to be in Mexico. If Mexico can't control the cartels, the US needs to go in and get rid of them. frick what Mexico thinks.

Yep. You could even fund a neutral zone that’s jointly patrolled and that would be money well spent on economic development and security.
Mexico may not agree. But the alternative for them is much worse.

We can’t keep drugs out of prisons. Think about that. Now think of the level of police state that would be required to make drugs truly illegal.
War on drugs is a waste of time and resources. Make everything legal and take away the revenue stream from the cartels and they will go away.
