Trump is trolling the hell out of Panama. Why?

Because we built the Panama Canal and it’s the most important shipping lane in the world. Bill Clintons dumbass gave it back to them and they’ve been harassing and taxing the hell out of US vessels driving up our prices. Why the frick shouldn’t we control it when it cost 1000s of American lives to build it?

It was actually given back by Carter, JT didn’t take effect until 1999. Makes no sense to have given it back.
There is nothing Panama can do to stop us from having them return it.

i’m in the Int’l Shipping Industry. & I was at the Canal in October, and Trump is 1000% correct yet again on this topic as well.

I wanted to see where the Darien Gap was relative to the Panama Canal.
If you are correct and the Darien Gap is being used as a hideout for drug pushers and gang bangers and also as a route for illegal migrants, then the US has a right to stop illegals and criminals from entering our country.
Panama has no business facilitating the invasion of another sovereign nation.
