People dressed like they going to the arctic circle.

Subtle brag. Ate some G dubs. Made it out alive.

32 in louisiana is worse than -9 at 14k feet. All day. Every day.

I swear my god damned bones hurt down here when it's 20. I don't even blink in the rockies at 20.

Dry air vs humid air, humid cuts to the bone.

This is spot on.

I spent about a month in Pennsylvania in the winter with snow and all, and none of that was as bad as 30s here.

Always laughed at the people in Valdosta that would dress like they were in the Alps while it was 65 degrees in December.

Curious. Why do you care what people wear?

I woke up in -10F this morning and flew to New Orleans.

…the -10F was worse by a large margin

The older I get, the colder I get. A warm jacket is a blessing.

It's 48 frickin degrees outside. This is the Artic Circle for us. This is why we don't live in Green Bay. Or Ann Arbor.

I’ve always been the type to never be able to get warm in winter. My hands stay ice cold most of the time. I could never do Midwest or northeast weather

New Orleans when it’s cold is glorious. We have no idea how to dress and any regard for social expectations are thrown out the window.

People wearing socks on hands, jackets as hats, t-shirts with giant down jackets. Just grocery shopping with a blanket wrapped around you. Zero fricks are given.

For the city that invented the doberge cake we have a real contempt for layers.
