Already seeing majorly flaws 2 games into the playoffs but it's wild to think. You potentially have to win 4 extra games to win the title now. That's a lot to ask these kids. Especially the ones who are projected 1st rounders. You gonna risk injury in 4 extra games just to win a ring? I think it's just an absurd ask from this stupid committee.

For instance, lets say Penn State goes on a run. This stud TE who won the Macky Award. Tyler Warren #44. What if he gets hurt in like the semifinals. So, he doesn't get to play for a championship and he just hurt his draft stock with an injury. When in all reality he would have already won a National title of it were the BCS or a 4 team playoff. Extending the season this much is all for MONEY. They don't care about the athletes.

There will always be controversy. But 4 wasn't really that bad. Just stop asking a biased committee to pick the teams. Have the BCS computer system pump out the teams or something.

They’re getting paid 100k - 1+ million dollars per year. They can play a 16 game schedule.

Warren wouldn’t be in the playoffs in a 2/4 team format…

This needs to stop. None of these are kids. They’re grown arse adults that got what they wanted. They all have agents, NIL contracts, have to file taxes, makes life altering decisions yearly and many hold teams hostage for more money. There’s not a damn thing kid like in any of that. Those kid days are long gone. Welcome to the world men.

I’m pretty sure players have risked injury every week since week 1, not just the playoffs.

High school and superbowl champions have to do it on an annual basis.

Why are college players so delicate?

Anyone who feels sorry for the kids these days is an absolute wuss

It’s called football. Injuries happen. They are also getting paid a lot of money now

With the playoffs the season is about as long as the NFL season now so it’s getting them ready for the next level.

Nobody is feeling sorry for them

But I think there is some merit for a discussion here. Does it really need be 17 games played to win a championship. Not only for the injury aspect but just the good of the college football in general

They’re not kids. They’re adults. And a lot of them are getting paid. Just stop.
