Not because the bill didn’t pass. But because he had a chance to lead and was more concerned about future optics than leading with policy.

I was the first upvote.
I could see the reasoning for raising the ceiling just enough to get the federal government into March, but suspending it entirely for two years is to beg for inflation and eventual currency collapse due to the weight of debt.

Trump should have just stayed out of this. But, here we are.
So which is it, Trump should’ve stayed away or Trump didn’t do enough? Hard to keep up with the mental gymnastics as to why all of this is trumps fault when it’s Congress job.

The Republican losers who have done nothing but fail and disappoint for decades are here to show us the way to success. The same losers who will nominate Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio for President in 28’ who will go on to lose then they will lecture us again on how we need to moderate

I will believe what X tells me to believe. After all, so many for so long have felt the very same way about MSM!

OP Is correct.
It is OK to criticize Trump, right?
Let's not stoop to the level of groomers where every shitty thing our leaders do is amazing.

Yes because the “debt ceiling” has really been effective at stopping spending lol it must be the tallest ceiling ever built to house trillions in debt already accrued

Then it would be weird to give Trump credit for spiking the first one, right?
You didn't do that, did you?

To OP and others the only person who can’t spend is Trump
