It’s terrible. And the animation and uncanny valley is too much to overcome for me.

Sadly, my five year old fricking LOVES it.

It’s just so bad and awkward. I really don’t get people that love that movie. Seen it like eight times and each time it gets worse and more creepy.

It’s the definition of uncanny valley

The North Pole scenes leading up to Santa coming out is the only good part of the movie. That part is awesome where they sing “Santa Clause is Coming To Town” and he opens the door and his shadow is there and they go wild.

I don’t like it otherwise

I can’t imagine how many times you would’ve watched it if you liked it.

My mom loves it unfortunately, so every other Christmas I have to watch parts of it.

Probably the most poorly-aged animated movie in the last 25 years, at least when compared to its initial reception.

I remember people thought it was amazing in 2004. It is the worst piece of excrement I’ve ever seen.

Yeah, it was pretty meh. Had its moments for sure, but very middling for how it was hyped.

People always shite on that movie. It’s not THAT bad. The animation is weird but it’s not a bad movie

The upside is that now the animation can be updated and do away with that uncanny valley eye sore we got in the original.

The most depressing depiction of the North Pole in any movie. Bland, quiet and devoid of joy. We all used to like it but this year while watching we all just started picking it apart.

Sounds like a pretty accurate description of the real North Pole except for the obvious it’s cold AF
