Lots of super powered characters, monsters, etc. Definetly the most comic-book looking and fantastical Superman movie. Trailer didn’t really move the needle for expectations like I was hoping it would.

Love the look of it. It LOOKS like a real Superman film. It looks like an actual Superman comic come to life. Loved the music.
Somewhat mixed on some things I saw. I think the dog was a miscalculation. I think modern audiences will groan at that as it just looks campy and cheesy. But maybe that’s part of the point to throwback to what Superman actually is.
I have some level of excitement now.

Guardians was cool, just not a fan of James Gunn’s overall directing style and comedic approach.

That was pretty fricking underwhelming. Damn. I was pretty excited for this but it just…looks bad? There’s a lot happening (Green annd Red Lanterns?, robots, aliens annd monsters and hawkgirl and Lex) and it all just looks horrible. The colors and CGi. It looks like it was made with AI or some shite.
Looks closer to some Scooby Doo James Gunn shite than him finding that Guardians magic he once had. Maybe whoever cut the trailer just did an abysmal job and the movie will still be great. That’s what I’m hoping for

Loved Krypto. NoHo Hank looked intense as Metamorpho (looking forward to seeing all of him, nice shot of Stagg Industries). The contemporary nerd Clark looks much better here than he did in the stills from the set.
