That’s what doesn’t make a lot of sense. It almost seems if they grab 3 edge guys - > there is not a lot of faith in Cobbins or Jackson huh?

They are all one and done guys so maybe its not a lack of faith in those kids long term, just not putting our eggs in the basket that they will take the leap. If they do and beat out the transfers then great but if they don't, we have safety blankets.

I’ve forgotten about Jackson considering the lack of coverage he gets. So that’s probably telling.

He was awful this year for FSU. Could have just been the season we had but he gave minimal effort all year. 4 sacks this year, 3 of them in one game against Cal. Maybe a change of scenery would help him but IMO he benefited a lot from having Jared Verse on the other side of the line in 22 and 23.
