I believe the "leadership council" decides which uniforms to wear for each game.

It’s pretty clear at this point that this is what the players want. Let the kids wear whatever uniforms they choose

The Texas Bowl designated us the home team. We are required to wear a dark color. White jerseys are not an option.

And for a 100 years before that they wore different combos. Even within the 40 year span, the first 12 they were forced to wear that combo by NCAA rules, then they stopped wearing it for 5 years before switching back to wearing it a couple of times a year in 2000. That’s hardly a tradition.

its our arguably best ALTERNATE. all white is good also......
but we are SICK of wearing alternates.
just wear traditional classic

alternates need to be shitcanned for years. we have worn 5 years worth of alts this year alone! we dont need them. period!

The biggest argument that I have is the mystique factor that LSU loses when it wears an alternate uniform. There has to be some intimidation when an 18 year old walks out onto the field to face a team he's watched for years. That is almost certainly lost when LSU wears the unknown combinations. LSU might as well be another Big 12 team.
