I'm curious if this means in teh office full time or allows for hybrid schedules. Not allowing full remote I agree with. Hybrid schedules I can see for certain roles.

This is a mechanism for firing people and downsizing the workforce. It has nothing to do with whether work from home is actually good or bad.

The idea is that these people are so addicted to working from home they will either quit, or refuse to come into the office and be fired.

Will be fun to watch.

I can definitely appreciate this aspect of it. My post is more for the nerds that seem to always be posting during business hours but have some huge issue with WFH

The ones that got a secret not so secret pass from Biden to work from home recently-the SSA -is like calling Tammy trash whore and Shawanda.

While they are filing their 6 inch long pointy nails and you can hear their kids running around the house.

We need new employees at the SSAdministration. they act like gods and tell you something different every time you call.

You have to wait with not even pleasant--elevator music for 48 minutes until Shawanda bothers to take the call.

My counter to this is that everyone on here is saying these are "cake jobs". If the job is really as good as people think then going back in will not make these people quit. It has to be one or the other.

I don't have an issue at all with WFH unless it's my tax dollars paying for it.

Any logical argument you'd like to make?

Oh, do you mean our resident poster who appears to create a dozen threads every day, yet has a hardon for eliminating WFH?

Which point are you talking about? Not having a problem with WFH or having a problem with WFH when the workers are government employees?

Make the government lean, efficient and based on merit

And once it's there, we can talk about WFH and accommodating the work-life needs of good federal employees IMO.

That you even have to ask the question tells me enough.

I have no idea what you're getting at but if you're happy then cool.

That's not going to happen, and it's certainly not going to happen in 4 years.
