He had 5.5 sacks second on the team. Playing only part time.

Damn I'll have to go back and watch some games, I was mostly keeping up with Swinson after he was destroying QB's for like 5 weeks straight

3 sacks, but yeah i wish he wasnt dealing with injury coming into the season, could have factored more into the DLine rotation for sure.

I'm a bit bummed Suggs decided to move on, I thought the snaps he played were REALLY good overall. Got a lot of pass rush. Not sure why he didnt play a little more than he did. He was the 3rd highest graded player on defense this year behind Alexander and Swinson.

Felt like with McKinley and Guillory as starters and Suggs & Breaux rotating in that was a really good looking group for next year

Not really a recruiting thread, but I agree.

Yes, I think he will have really good year next year. As a freshman, in the OU game, he showed some really good stuff. One of the more promising young DT’s in a while.

Get his brother in 2026 and hope he can come in + be like Dom.

There’s a recruiting angle for the thread, haha.

Late in that Oklahoma game we had a line of Jones, McKinley, Suggs, and Carpenter and they wrecked shop.

I think the combination of McKinnley, Guillory eating blockers and Reliford are going to wreck shop. That’s a lot of size, strength and athletic ability. This is how LSU lines used to be built.

I did have my doubts after the signing struggles with him, but he continued to progress and i think he will be a great contributor next year.

Really hope Suggs comes back for rotation. I think he is an above avg player.

McKinley just needed to be coached up. Luckily we have the best person possible to do that with him.

is that true? I remember him looking good at the end of the year but i’d ain’t realize the production matched my perception.

Absolutely! Also maybe the biggest addition to this group

The MASSIVE 6’-3.5” 330lb space eating monster Zion Williams!!

Plus 3 other high school DL

I feel like he needs to develop more past rushing skills. All I have seen is a power rush

He's an interior d lineman ...all they do is power rush..not much room for anything else when you've got players on your left and right
