Excellent, this will be a fantastic, localized experiment of what will happen if this is implemented nationwide.

I wonder if insurance companies pull out entirely.

Will the cost difference associated with this bill be subsidized through ACA?

What companies would offer health insurance in those states?

Insurance deductibles surely will.

Banning pre existing exceptions is why Obamacare policies have ridiculous deductibles. They put a $2,000 cap on out of pocket drug costs on Medicare prescription plans, and drug deductibles skyrocketed.

None, which is what they want. They want government run socialized medicine.

For shareholder profits to remain sky high, they'd have to.

Maybe drastic measures are the only thing that will blow up the entire bullshite though.

Anything government has done so far is negotiated with lobby of the worst offenders to protect their profit margins.

One of the worst imaginable solutions to the healthcare mess. How are govts so incredibly full of stupid people?

So, heart surgery would cost $50,000 instead of $100,000? And you think people are denied care now?!? lol…

Is that how you think that will work?

You think healthcare will be cheaper if insurance companies are not involved???

shareholder profits to remain sky high,

Maybe you should start a Health insurance company with your own money since profits are not anything you are interested in.

If the middle man provides no value to the customer either in product or cost, and the middle man magically disappears, the customer benefits, no?

A hospital billed the insurance company for a heart valve replacement on one of our kinfolks.
That was the second heart valve replacement on that person that day, as the kin had died during the first replacement.

If the second claim hadn't been denied, it would have been so wrong.

It sounds good to normal people at first glance but the level of unnecessary BS that people are gonna claim is gonna go through the roof

They aren't that smart unfortunately. Everyone says, that. But I don't think its true. They honestly think the government can regulate private businesses and help make things cheaper.

When the entire issue of a private insurance industry being expensive is the massive government involvement.

Let these Dumbass Democrat states take care of their own stupid decisions and I have a feeling the Trump Administration will do just that. Hey you want a sanctuary city you got it but you will not receive ONE DAMN DIME FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. See how long people in that state will still be in favor of it when they are paying for it. All this shite they do now in these states are reimbursed by the federal government with Biden in office.

Enjoy several hours of waiting at the ER after you cut your finger off because 10 common colds, 4 minor burns, and a broken tailbone got there first.

There's a financial bottom line that will hit healthcare providers if demand doesn't keep up with the prices they have. If everyone is unable to pay due to high prices, prices tend to come down.
