Way up on the list of 'non-critical ASAP' items.

He won't get it but he should force the issue so we can get everyone on the record on where they stand.

Make them openly oppose it and get them on record.

No more two-faced camera work.

I imagine 95%+ understand it's the law and accepted as much, with Supreme Court precedent. I don't get what you think will occur with people declaring they're not crazy or grifters.

Shouldn’t make promises that you probably cant keep. This is an issue that should be discussed down the line once you get the border under control. This will bring unwanted opposition to his immigration agenda when he needs the political clout on deporting and shutting the border..

We are about the only country that is stupid enough to allow this.

I have no problem with birth right citizenship but don’t cry about breaking up families.

I'm struggling with the issues of which lies matter.

I am thrilled that Trump won, and think this presidential administration could be the most consequential, ever. But, how do you excuse the lie of saying you become a US citizen by putting one foot on our soil?

Also, I thought our side was the one that cared about the Constitution, yet he's suggesting that he can suspended the 14th Amendment through Executive Orders?

Was also a little more reasonable an idea when we didn’t have cradle to grave welfare.

There should at least be provisos that birthright citizenship only works if you are here legally with permission to work and a job secured.

I've heard lots of Russians travel over here last minute to make sure their baby has US citizenship. Not cool. Also not cool that people use it as an immigration tool, IE have a baby here after arriving illegally and get to stay.

There is not a lot of difference between MAGA and Progressivism. Both are activist and collective.

I dont think any care for the constitution.

This is not a factual statement and does not describe the current state of our citizenship laws.

There are grifters who claim that the 14A doesn't really say this and ignore USSC precedent, and this is oft-repeated within the MAGA echo chamber.

This will require a new USSC ruling eradicating prior precedent, which won't likely come until after Trump is out of office.

That will require a Constitutional amendment.

It's not precedent. It's a footnote. Not even dicta. It's rubbish.
