Bryce Underwood
Jahkeem Stewart
Derek Meadows
Kade Phillips
Dakorien Moore

Any other names? I know Moore decommitted earlier in the process but he's the guy I think that would have made an immediate impact and will probably be a first rounder in 3 years.

Underwood and it’s not close.

Although it’s telling that the question is about the guys who flipped rather than the guys who signed.

None. Theyre all overrated.

I don't know, maybe I'm wrong but it just feels like most of those huge 'can't miss' QB prospects usually turn out to be misses

Underwood could end up being a bust, too.

It’s really not close. Elite QBs can cover up a lot of deficiencies on your team. You can win National Championships without an elite QB but having one just makes it easier.

They are all unproven 17-18 year olds

Signing classes also don't mean much anymore, any of those guys could be un P&G by the 2026 season

IMHO quarterback is now a transfer game. Freshmen who stay at a school for 3 years has become rare. LSU will be fine, as long as the evaluations are done well.

Julian Sayin
Arch Manning
Cade Klubnik
Quinn Ewers
Bryce Young
Spencer Rattler
Trevor Lawrence
Davis Mills
Shea Patterson
Josh Rosen

Those are the last 10 #1 quarterbacks in the 247 composite. How many can you really say were misses? Maybe a couple. Certainly not most.

Ask 2010 Auburn.
Not saying Underwood will be Newton, but your point is accurate.

Underwood, Stewart, Moore, Phillips.
In that order, but it’s like 1A-1D
You win titles with elite players, you don’t get em, you don’t win em.

Stewart. #1 player in the state at a position of huge need. Gotta keep that kid home. LSU needs the big dudes!

Only 2 won a national championship?
I’d argue at least half were “busts”

Had we kept all these guys and the ones who signed, damn what an absolute monster of a team.
