You shouldn't be driving.

You're too old.

I work for a FedEx contractor and we all start packing it in before it gets real dark out there. Those packages can wait til tomorrow. I’m not risking my life for someone’s Walmart box.

It's quite the conundrum. High-beam offenders require getting high-beamed back. But it's getting more difficult to not high-beam the innocent.

yeah there's a few newer cars with massive LED headlights that absolutely do look like they have their high-beams on.

Has anyone else's eyesight gotten worse after turning 40? I was 41 when this happened, but my eyesight.. it was as if it just suddenly got worse. Went to the eye doctor and he asked me my age, I told him 41 and he said that's why your eyes have gotten worse. I kind of thought he was full of shite at first until talking with other people who told me that they had the same problem. They turned 40 and soon after their eye site got worse.

But my point I am getting to is that low beam really messes with me. They always did, but its worse now. I am at the point I don't really like driving in the dark. And also, frick people who don't turn off their brights or waits until they are right up on you as if that does anything.

Yeah, I'm starting to think they're all just trying to blind us old folks. Maybe it's a conspiracy.

Doesn't have anything to do with it. Some lights are just too damn bright. Then, you have mouth breathing "baws" with jacked up trucks and factory set headlights. It is a problem.

Count your blessings. There’s a lot of gangs that have new members ride around with their brights in and then murder anyone that flashes them.

You're not getting old. The headlights are getting out of control and we have an epidemic of super tards out there with SUV's, trucks, and Jeeps that lift their vehicles, put these insane headlights on there, and never re-aim them properly.

This. It’s not the brightness, it’s the misaligned lights.

You should be able to tell the difference by his spear apart the spacing of the beams. Close together, high beams, more spaced out, low beams. The only ones that can throw you off are Jeeps. With their narrow front ends and raised headlights, it’s easy to mistake them for a car with their hi beams on.

Having said all that, it is getting more and more common to encounter idiots driving around with their light on hi beam, even in town. Something else I’m starting to notice now is idiots driving around town at night either absolutely no lights on whatsoever. I think, as a society, we’re slowly becoming too stupid to operate motor vehicles.

Let me help you out g. I’m in my early 30s and just had my eyes checked a month ago, still have excellent vision according to the docs, no known issues.

Those lights are bright as a motherfricker. It ain’t you. Well, maybe it could be you, but it’s definitely not just you. The LEDs are blinding. And as someone else pointed out there’s a lot of aftermarket modifications being done to trucks and cars on the road that messes up the alignment of the lights.
