LSU. Ours was promoted to bring in Bryce Underwood and failed to do so.

CBK takes over the duties and promotes Cortez to sole OC.
Brings in a QB coach.
Brings in a QB coach.

He did not fail in bringing in Bryce Underwood. No 18 year old will turn down $10 million to go play somewhere else.

lol
Literally the only reason he was given the OC position was to keep him happy to keep Underwood happy. He failed to hold up his end, even if it was all about money.
He was undeserving of the position and should either be demoted back to QB coach or outright fired. Plain and simple.
Get a real OC that knows how to call plays and make the offense functional again.
People love to claim how great Nuss is but ignore that the kid throw over 41 passes a game to put up those stats and players like Burrow and Daniel’s were putting up mid to lower to mid 30s in attempts per game.
Burrow put up 35 a game and JD 27 a game for exact numbers.

Ok then he failed at being a competent play caller and being able to develop and sustain a running game. Fair enough?

4/5 of the first posts are like a bot short circuited. Or Kansas fan can't keep his alters straight

They were both on our board. I've never liked Rees and didn't want him at FSU. Tom Herman kind of made a clown of himself as did Gus at some point, I honestly think both have great offensive minds and without HC duties could be very successful as strictly offensive coordinators

I hope you’re not hoping for this to happen, because this would be idiotic.

I’d be fine w Rees
Milroe was significantly better under Rees

I'm with you, Sloan needs to go ASAP. He failed to do what he was hired to do, so time for him to go.
This is why you don't promote someone for a recruit and frick up a season, what do we have to show for it other than season of what-ifs? First the House debacle, then this?

Nobody remember the bama complaints about Reese?
Posted on 12/5/24 at 11:15 am to TigerBlitz03
Bama complained about Kiffin and sark as oc’s as well
Find me a team that consistently loves its oc

Hi Joe. Need to tell your oline coach to fix his shite and quit making you look bad.

I think so.
When the HC, who never did so before, starts carrying a play sheet, that is a pretty clear sign he doesn't 100% trust the OC. There were multiple times after TOs, mess ups on offense where BK was shown screaming into the headset. Certainly that could have been another coach on the receiving end, but logic says it was likely Sloan.
I can't recall if it was against Vandy or OU, but I was watching BK through binoculars when LSU had to burn an early timeout because the play clock was running down. BK very clearly screamed into the headset "Just call the fricking play!!!!" The inference was that the play was taking too long to come in, or the OC was trying to search for the "perfect" play.
