Congrats to COACH PRIME and the Buffs on a heck of a season!

Taking a team with a single win just two years prior to going 9-3 with an outside shot at the Big 12 Championship and the 12 Team Playoff. COACH PRIME keeps receipts, and he’s silencing the critics. Now give him his theme music!

It was an okay season in a mediocre conference that will end with no conference title (not even a conference title game appearance) and no CFP berth despite having the Heisman winner and the top QB taken in the draft (who are both gone after this year). Pretty embarrassing, in all honesty…

He brought his top-talent son and elite Travis Hunter with him from JSU. Colorado will finish 3-9 next yr… if he even stays there and isn’t a grifter.

He and his sons greatest accomplishment this season was getting most of America to hate a team with the Heisman winner. Deion's "magic" will run out when Hunter and Shedeur are gone and the "disrespect" motivation tool is gone.

The conference is bad.
The top 3 Big 12 teams:
ASU - beat worst SEC team by 1 score
ISU - beat mid tier B1G team by 1 point
CO - got shite pushed in by a low tier B1G team by 3 scores
When you have the Heisman + the QB1 in CFB, winning 9 games in a conference like that is baseline expectations

They lost 3 and avoided the top 3 teams in the conference. Not their choice obviously but would’ve been more losses.

When I see the congratulatory Dillingham threads from the casual fan, I'll bend over backwards to praise Dieon. He has done it with a LOT of help from the football media and media, in general. They've helped make CU the cool place to go just by helping him sell "Coach Prime". Other guys still had to pay thier dues as coaches with no media blitzes to get where they are. He has largely been able to do it because of our country's fascination with celebrity, specifically black celebrity. That's just the truth. The other truth is that he deserves to have the bashing stop because his team has been playing pretty darn well and he has improved CU to a decent level, which is impressive. If it odes fall apart after his guys leave, that's on his coaching, and the pressure should be back on....like it is for every other coach.

Maybe that would have happened if this board spent the better part of two years screaming that Dillingham was a clown and would be fired after a year or two after winning just 3 games.
