One of the busiest travel days of the year, where is everyone headed this week? On my way to Newark and somehow my flight is on time this evening given the air traffic control delays. Feeling thankful. Hope everyone has a happy thanksgiving

I have a nine minute drive to a friend’s house. And to rub it in, his wife told me to show up at noon to have drinks and watch football before eating at one. I will be home by dark. Hell to the yes.
Are you stuck driving a bunch after you land in EWR?

Back home after 3 great days in CT. Uneventful. Both flights (BDL-DTW-CVG) departed and arrived early.
Departure at 9:22 (scheduled at 9:35). Back in my house before 3:00.

Off plane in terminal at 905pm, in the door at 945pm. Always pros and cons to flying in/out of Newark vs Westchester, LGA, or JFK

Flying home today after most of the week in Yosemite.
Fresno airport was a ghost town at noon. One traveler ahead of us at security and no one else at the ticketing desk.
At SFO currently and pretty quiet. The flight is about half full heading to MSY.

It gives us the perfect out, “need to get on the road before dark and the cops come out.”
Note to self, when you bring gin to a Brit as a gift, bring twice as much as you planned.
Glad you didn’t have a bad drive, my last time in EWR I had to drive to Rhode Island in the middle of the night.

Made it back from Thailand and Hong Kong Wednesday night just in time for Thanksgiving after a month away.
Airports (SF and Dallas) were not bad at all surprisingly. Quick and painless and no delays.

Flying home from LGA today and got here super early just in case. I usually arrive early but got here about 2 1/2 hours early just in case.
It’s a ghost town. No one in front of me at bag drop and 1 person at Precheck. Oh well. Plenty of time to feed the kids and get settled at the gate.

Flew into Newark Tuesday, hotel in NYC Times Square, carmines Italian, top of the rock, st Patrick’s, Central Park, rockettes, museum of natural history, 9/11 museum and Chicago. Flew home Saturday. Walked maybe 23 miles in 3 days. Had to cx Peter Lugers Thursday bc we couldn’t get out of manhattan with the traffic from the parade.
