I really can't believe this type of thing is published in a supposedly real magazine. How about throwing a "reportedly" or "allegedly" or even a "some say"

quote:

Increasing concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere have caused intense hurricanes, wildfires, extreme heat, floods, droughts and more in recent years. Alongside efforts to reduce emissions of the gas from burning fossil fuels, some scientists are also looking for processes that could remove some of the carbon dioxide that’s already up there.

“You have to take CO2 from the air—there’s no way around it,” Omar Yaghi, a chemist at UC Berkeley tells the Los Angeles Times’ Karen Kaplan. “Even if we stop emitting CO2, we still need to take it out of the air. We don’t have any other options.”

Missed the part where plants grow better. Loved the 140* temperature release.

It's amazing. Just plant more trees it's a win win.

One of my favorite questions about global warming is: "What are the benefits to global warming? How will this make life better?"

People actually believe this shite. the "intense hurricanes" has been more than debunked. Wildfires, particularly in California, have more to do with crappy forestry practices and arson, extreme heat, floods, and droughts just happen with no help from alleged "climate change."

Because fire is fueled by CO2?

Hurricanes have not become more frequent or severe. It's a lie.

If this actually worked the globalists would use it to starve humanity into compliance.

When Galveston got destroyed it was just called 'The Great Storm'. Then we named hurricanes. Then we created 'named storms.' Next will be 'named heavy showers.' IE, 'Heavy Shower Rudolph will hit Shreveport today and everyone is warned to take cover. This is the 20th Heavy Shower of the year and breaks the record. The frequency of these horrible rain showers is due to Global Warming.'

This heating process is expensive and energy-intensive, since traditional carbon capture materials must be heated to high temperatures.

Yeah, let's add more pressure on our power grids along with those EV cars and trucks. What could go wrong? Expensive? So how will they figure out a way to pass that on to the customer.

Leave Mother Nature alone. She knows what she's doing.

Yea, it's sad what has happened to formerly respected scientific journals and organizations, like The Smithsonian and Scientific American.

They have sold out and have no relevance to science.

This won't be approved because the 500 million dollar money laundering carbon capture plants won't have a purpose
