What is Todd Graves’s ($9.5 billion) influence (if any) on LSU recruiting, or since he’s a UGA grad, does he support their recruiting?

Someone needs to get Shaq involved with the NIL.

Not sure about FB, but he def does in baseball so I’d imagine so to some degree. Kelly did say they're about to splurge in the portal

Maybe Todd doesn’t like wasting his money on teenagers

I keep seeing this “he’s a UGA grad” line repeated on here. I’ve seen him at almost every game I’ve been to over the last 5 years and his box always has someone that’s a big LSU name or someone famous he brought to the game. Maybe he didn’t get rich making decisions like giving high school kids large amounts of money with almost zero return on investment.

He does it the right way. He is involved in NiL. I’ve seen several posters of players inside of canes and working the window at canes.

I'm assuming this statement doesn't count when you talk about professional basketball or football players.

We should get t shirts that say we are lsu fans and we only want players who bleed purple and gold, no cash. Then we can field a team of two and three stars from Louisiana and dominate with toughness and grit.

I've seen Cane's commercials with at least 3 LSU players

Nuss
Campbell
Lacy

He may also be covering more.

i hate people saying this shite. You don't know what these people have bought that they don't show you. How many billionaires were in contact Epstein for example?

No, they just aren't that interested in a college sports program to spend money on it.

That's because he's not serious at all. Ever since Les Miles was fired, he's just been a huge trolling and negative a-hole.

Todd Graves has restaurants everywhere. If he's completely in with LSU, it isn't going to help the businesses he has in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, etc. From what I can tell, he supports all the different local teams to some extent. Makes sense.

Shaq

One of Shaq’s many famous quotes .. “In Order To Get My Cheese, You Have To Present Me With Two Degrees“

He emphasized that his children will not simply inherit his fortune. Instead, they will have to earn their way in life, regardless of his financial success.

I don’t think Shaq is going to buy, or give his money away to an 18 year old kid that is unproven at the college level. Additionally, these kids have no loyalty to the college they initially sign with. Quinn Ewers was given $1M to sign with Ohio State and left after 4 months. Imagine investing in an an athlete to help your alma mater win a NC and he enters the transfer portal after 1 semester. CFB is a bidding war and elite HS QB’s will be offered $5-6 M in the next 3 years.

I agree.

Also, why do wealthy people have to pay the university's employees? That's what these athletes are.
