With 2 kids and rarely using my truck for truck things, thinking about possibly getting a Palisade.

Wife already has an expedition , so we have one big vehicle for family vacations or transporting something if needed.

Mainly worried about my T lowering and baw status if I ditch the truck for a mom mobile

I've thought about it because I have needed a covered back more than I need a bed, but I opted for just putting a shell on my truck.

I was going to hate on you and say thats a dumb idea, but after looking at the Palisade, it looks pretty sleek. Do what you want.

My truck was stolen 3 years ago...went with an SUV.

Don't miss it one bit.

I had an elantra in college and never had issues. Got no beef with Hyundai

I miss a truck when I have to get gas for my lawn mower. I have to put the hitch carrier to hold the gas cans outside. Other than that I’ve hauled most other things I would in a truck, in the Yukon without issues.

Looking at trucks for a while now just can’t pull the trigger.

Trucks are impractical and unnecessary for most people who own them

Get a floor liner and a dog crate. Problem solved

If you're seriously considering a Palisade for your personal vehicle, your wife has a wife.

I traded in a Tacoma for a Jeep 13 years ago. If you need a truck bed you can just buy a small utility trailer.

A buddy of mine traded in his Sierra for an Expedition a few years back.

Have had both, and I get a lot more practical use out of my Bronco. Trucks are nice when you need them, but I can always borrow one.

I can haul a few pieces of lumber or pvc pipe easy in the SUV with the seats down.

I keep cheap moving blankets from harbor freight in the back in case I need to haul something dirty.

I went from a truck to a Jeep a while back. It was a PITA every time i needed to do truck stuff finding someone with a truck to borrow, or towing my bass boat long distance. I kept it 11 months and bought another truck.
