My wife and I will be visiting the in-laws next week for what could be an interesting Thanksgiving. Their both liberal but my MIL is of the Gloria Steinem cut and we haven't spoke since the elections.

I plan to go down there and totally avoid the issue despite the insatiable desire to spike the football and do the Trump dance. I can't tell how challenging being on my best behavior will be HAHA.

They live on MSNBC and since Morning Joe bent the knee to Trump I probably will have say something along the line of "Since Joe and Mika kissed the ring I'll give them a shot because if they can kiss "Hitler's" arse this should be worth watching.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Only reasonable solution to this:

Give her a Trumpy Bear....and some Kleenex to dry her tears.

Expecting it? I'm going to instigate it by walking into the house wearing this shirt and doing this dance

C'mon on, man, you gotta do the dance. Do it for America. Do it for Peanut. Hell, do it for William "Regrigerator" Perry. Just do it.

I spend my Thanksgivings and Christmas at the deer lease. No Marxist out there.

With the exception of a cousin that I haven't spoken to since 2016, I don't have any leftists in my family. Mom, dad, wife, and in-laws are all hardline conservatives.

Christmas 2016 I gave out a few Russian-style fur hats. And yes, they were poor quality, even by rat-hat standards. And I'd say they were generally received with good humor. My family members have known for some time that I'm an a-hole.

My family is completely melting down over RFK, Oz, Gaetz, and Linda McMahon. It's going to be a wild holiday season.

Heh...already had it. My family came to town Veterans day weekend. It was dodged the entire time.

You should 100 percent give in and spike the football.

The only family extended family we have that are liberals is one of my wife’s aunts and uncles.

We don’t see them often so not too much of a chance to spike it on them.

No big family T-Giving this year. First time in forever. But it was cancelled months ago, as we couldn't get everyone together. Christmas with the brother in law should be interesting, though. Guy's a big NPR listener and thinks J6 was as bad as 9/11.

There will be about 15 people at my house for Thanksgiving.

My ground rules...

1. I didn't invite you, my wife did. I'll uninvited you at any point and for any reason.

2. I will be smoking weed from my front porch per SOP. So if you don't like it, don't come.

Because he won? Let him and his cabinet fix some shite first.

The country is still in shite mode.

Long road ahead with some pain yet to come.

Unfortunately me and my sisters were raised in the upper middle class suburbs of Savannah correctly so no TDS to poke at for humor. I really wish there was though. My older sis has a new bf ive never met maybe I can rangle some rage from him

I already told my family I'm not coming. They're doing it at my aunt's house this year. My "transmale" cousin and her lesbian wife are bringing the kid they're grooming that calls her "dad." Yeah, not subjecting my kid to all that garbage.
