I don’t think this team will be able to compete with the top of the league because it’s so good (Auburn, Bama mostly) but I think they’ll be very fun to watch. The players on the team are easy guys to root for, very entertaining in interviews. I think this is trending in the category of a good hire.

Honestly, first game I watched. We played a terrible team and struggled for most of the game. Maybe this is the outlier, but I feel like I’ve seen this movie before. I’m not getting my hopes up just yet. Feel free to use my first sentence as a quote in your reply for an easy rebuttal, but I found this game concerning. Clemson beat them by 27. North Florida beat them by 24. UTRGV (who the frick even is this?) beat them by 10. VMI beat them by 11. We beat them by 9. At home. Not a good team.

Nah the previous LSU teams would’ve never beaten a pretty good Kansas St. team last game. Especially on the road. It think this team will be a pretty big improvement from the last few years.

Hope you’re right. Small sample size for me. I want to believe, especially after my brother and I paid $400 for tickets in the Bama section and drove 9 hours to watch LSU get destroyed in FB in TS.

Better team chemistry and unselfishness. Better defense. Deeper bench. More athletic. Aggressive rebounding. A legit rim protector.

Kansas State win was impressive as hell. If that team and type of performance can show up consistently, will be dancing come March.

Wonderful News - I thought this coach was going to improve the team in time. Are they good enough to compete and win in the SEC Schedule. Can’t wait to find a game on TV to watch

What a weak take. "I didn't watch them beat a decent team on the road so here's my take on one random game after that happened."

I caution it a bit early for hyperbole, but I'm cautiously optimistic with what I've seen.

The early struggles the last two home games are a bit concerning, we were trailing midway through the second half to two middling at best teams. But the athleticism is real and the talent is better overall.

Pitt will be another good test Friday. They're 5-0 and although West Virginia is their best win, they have blown everyone out. Id expect to be 6-7 point underdogs even playing at home.

A good environment would certainly help.

shite I just looked at schedule and it says LSU home and I was thinking it was in BR.

In West Virginia so downvote away

Maybe some fans out there will show up!

Sometimes too much unselfishness. Take the 5-10 foot jumper instead of passing a questionable pass further inside.

Agreed, it's honestly not a very reliable way of measuring teams comparatively, but I'll do it anyway.....looking at the early schedules and results for Kansas St. vs. Pitt.....Pitt's resume and results are better.

We'll see.
