I saw that posted on the game board. Has this been confirmed?

Wouldn't surprise me in the least. I've wondered similar - if we weren't inadvertently tipping our hand

If I knew from my couch where the ball was going, yes Deboer who is getting $9M a year definitely knew. This offense is beyond predictable

Funny because from the stands I pretty much called every single play Alabama was going to run. But they were just executing at a really high level.

I hate to say it but I can do it from the stands definitely if we are running or passing plus we run a junior high offense w

There is also a lack of creativity in terms of play design to take advantage of specific skill sets nor are there any wrinkles with plays by setting up plays down the road based off personnel & formation. Sloan doesn't create or take advantage of specific match ups like good offensive minds do. It's basically a let the players make plays inside of a simple scheme instead of placing players in positions to play to their strengths.

See the thread on the RB rotation.

Basically the play call determines what RB into the game.

So it’s a HUGE tell if that’s actually true.

And it doesn’t surprise me because our RB rotation has made no sense at all this year.

Alabama has been well coached on recognizing tells for years, and LSU has a long history of showing tells. He'll, I remember JJ used to put his mouth guard on his helmet when he was going to hand off and fans saw it for half a season before our coaches did.

One of the the biggest differences in the 2019 season is that we weren't predictable. That and enormous talent.

I knew whenever it was 3rd and long Milroe was going to run for a first down

If Alabama is blitzing up the middle (like they did all night) I can tell you LSU is not going to throw it into the empty space in the middle of the defense.

And Deboer isn't even a great coach himself. A Bama fan said it was their best game all season.

The difference between 2019 and 2023 was a solid defense
