I watch Carter now and then, but haven't watched too many Film Studies.

He was informative and fired up.

Summary: He dismantles the players and coaching - top to bottom. I thought it was very well explained - play calling, play breakdown, coaching decisions.

LSU vs Alabama Film Study: BRIAN KELLY's worst coached game EVER?

Him and Blake Ruffino give good analysis on play and not just a bunch of hot takes.

Carter is excellent. He spends time on this shite, knows what he's talking about. Glad I found his channel over a year ago.

He's damn good overall.

I like Carter a lot. Blake is a little bit of a goof just constantly yelling and screaming but i agree they are both top notch in their LSU coverage.

I can’t bear to watch them evicerate the team and coaches from saturday i’m depressed enough as it is.

How bad did it hurt to watch this? Just wondering how much pain were all in for.

I was extremely tired of the espn radio crew..outside of Hanny.

Just happened to stumble upon Ruffino, too.
He's tied in, good resources.
I've gotten to where they are my go to. Postgame isn't just a bunch of cussing, BS, too.

Agreed. They balance each other out. Carter has to be careful with what he says cause a lot of athletes and recruits keep up with his stuff. Blake doesn’t give a shite.

Carter was unhinged Saturday night

Pretty bad.

Makes it pretty clear how badly we were out coached.

Same for me. The film study is unique in LSU talking head circles - its more like a coaching clinic than just "we didn't play well".

Seeing the film in that detail (I think its ESPN sky cam) and having him walk through what should have happened and mainly what didn't happen is nice.

Since we failed on almost every level, it was kind of therapeutic. I have no idea how we beat OM. I also have no idea how long will take to rebuild - it looks pretty bad to me.

I watched it last night. I enjoy Carters film studies. He tends to be pretty measured and reasonable when it comes to evaluating plays but I got a kick out of him when even he reached his point of frustration with a defensive play and he's yelling "WHY!? WHY!? WHY!? WHY!? WHY?!"

Man this film study was rough on DJ Chester. He was so bad. We all remember the strip sack where he blocked nobody. But they also tried to run counter multiple times where we were pulling lineman and Chester got blown tf up and destroyed the play. He had a big false start thst put is in a hole. He had a chance to blow up an engaged defender and somehow he ends up getting put on the ground.

I got the feeling he is getting tired of seeing what he has been seeing on film and he is channeling his inner fan when doing the study.

It was just a "oh we played poorly" it was going at players and coaches who made poor decisions.

Called out Sage and Burns for their lack of playmaking, not tackling, and I was eating it up - its all true.

Ehhh. At least Carter has started to call out Baker. Lots of nut hugging early season, especially with Perkins.

I'm not a fan of 3rd party reviews. Not saying that football is rocket science, but without knowing the play call, you can always define what a role in a play to what you think should be happening, which could be true or not true.
