If Woodward has any balls he pulls this off. Cignetti is a hell of a coach and will make some big program very successful. He won't be on the market long so you gotta pull the trigger now.

He's 63. And how do you know he's not a one hit wonder?

Curly Hallman was a hot-commodity wunderkind, we had to snatch him up before somebody else got him…

I guess you will be paying 70 million in buyout.

Here is a thought..............use your 70 million wisely......buy 5 star players off the rosters of other schools. Kelly will coach them up and win an NC.

He was 11-1 last year at James Madison and 52-9 there overall

Technically, this isn’t his 1st hit

You're financially tied to Kelly. His buyout is $68,000,000. He is not getting fired!!!

Reminds me of back when PJ Fleck, Scott Frost, Larry Fedora and Justin Fuentes were “must gets” who needed to be hired immediately.

Kelly is and (based on the contract) always has been getting 5 years. He could go 0-12 next year and be back.

Playoff next year and natty by year 5 are the expectations deal with it

No amount of money will get Cignetti to leave. I would crawl on broken glass to have him as LSU coach not it's a pipe dream

Someone needs to sit you down and explain how all of this works because you don't have a clue.

great coach but you’re ignoring the fact he still hasn’t played Ohio state, Penn State, Oregon, and Illinois.
