It’s good to hear Kelly shoulder the blame for losses and lack of preparation. He isn’t going to stand there and blame anyone else.
Losses in openers have been hugely disappointing. What does Kelly say? Like a man, he admits he needs to do a better job. Big Loss to Alabama at home- the first home loss of this career at LSU- Kelly admits he needs to do better job.
Fans love the accountability.

At some point- we have to take him at his word. He’s right.
IT’S ALL HIS FAULT

At some point, someone has to ask, "You keep saying you need to do a better job. Why aren't you and what are you going to do differently to help the team get better?"

The lights are too bright for him at LSU.

Then maybe he’ll do the right thing and resign

Words are just words. This team consistently comes out unprepared for season openers and big games, and that’s a Kelly trademark. I don’t care what he says after the game. Done with him!

this might sound ridiculous but he does not strike me as a guy that will hold LSU hostage. I think he resigns in 2-3 seasons anyway despite the contract.

Not only did he take responsability, he also refrained from assaulting any tables during the press conference.

He's getting better I guess

Do you know how much money he would be giving up? I don’t see that happening.

Cool. When is he going to do something about it? Because that's three seasons in a row and nothing has been done to fix it.

It’s his fault.

We are in a dark period…not sure how long this will last, but it’s going to be painful for some time (until he’s gone).

Kelly is frustrated because he knows he's in over his head.

Pay me 200k a week and I will be “a man” and say it’s all my fault too. That doesn’t win any favor with me, if it wasn’t such an epic failure, maybe. But that was down right embarrassing!!!
