Last year I posted at the end of the season that a friend/booster of mine had overheard Ward tell a friend that he was "out of here" right after their last game The usual rants told me it was BS and that my friend didn't hear anything. Guess he was right. Just a little late. Not sure what happened there but they are very deep at guard and aggressive defense is being demanded by the coaches. He tended to be a defensive liability at times. Not sure if that was the problem but he is gone now.

You're trying to play "told you so" after the kid passed up multiple portal windows was still around as recently as a week ago?

This is such a strange situation. The way that Mcmahon worded it makes it sound like it wasn't just Ward wanting to transfer but that there was another issue (either attitude or NIL or whatever) and the team decided that it was in the best interest of the team to ask him to step away. If its as simple as Ward didn't want to be here as the OP suggests, Ward wouldn't have passed up the transfer portal window and forced himself to have to sit out a year. That would have been extremely dumb

He was upset he wasn’t going to be in the starting lineup to start the season and decided to redshirt transfer. They could’ve just said that instead of the “mental health” smokescreen

Yeah, I don't know if I'd take a victory lap on being "correct". Ward not only stayed, but never entered the portal. He obviously went through summer workouts and was, as late as last week, still practicing with the team. Clearly it reached the point where the two sides decided to part ways. But that was just a few days ago

Give or take 7 months. Probably just a rounding error.
This probably isn't the "I told you so" hill I'd want to die on. But if it makes you feel "vindicated", feel free

LOL.Not a victory lap. Just pointing out what I posted at the end of last year. You guys are as soft as a Kamala voter.LOL

My point is he probably WAS considering leaving last year but for some reason decided to stay. There was something else going on and it carried into this year. And it was the rants telling me my friend didn't hear what he said he clearly heard so who was dying on what hill.

It's "idiots" like my friend that financially support the basketball team loser. You must really be a soy boy to be this upset over a post. GFY

Good point bro that’s why he transferred in the offseason right?

He clearly was not right.

I'm sure it wasn't just this. Something else had to have happened. Like he went crazy and fought someone.

Meh. I don't have an issue with McMahon protecting the player rather than calling him out in the media. No gain for LSU by calling him out and can send a bad rap to incoming/current players.

I think we have seen this before with the Justice hill saga.

Wish it weren’t true.
McMahon isn’t the most “fiery” guy, but I wonder if he holds the guys to a level of accountability that some don’t like.
