That man is a goddmaned hero

GOAT Supreme Court Justice. And he held on long enough to overturn Roe and let Trump choose his replacement. GOAT.

Great to see him outlast Biden.

An American Hero.
So glad he can retire now knowing his place won’t be given to scum.
He deserves it.
Great man

Trump should say, "Do you libs still maintain we need to expand the court?" "Cause I'm ready!"
Posted on 11/6/24 at 2:04 am to hsfolk
Trump needs to let him pick his successor.

I'd like another 2-1/2 years of the greatest Justice in the history of the Supreme Court!
But, if it’s looking like there's any chance that the Republicans might lose the Senate in 2026, we can do it a little bit earlier.

The nation needs to throw him one heck of a retirement party. Joe Biden is not invited.

I agree. Thomas has earned it. And he has had enough apprentices to pick a good one.

Let him pick his own replacement

I posted this about a week ago. The Dems already have a bill before the Senate expanding the Supreme Court. The Republicans should put THAT EXACT BILL up for a vote and, in doing so, every Republican should vote against it just as a show of decency and morality.

Republican Senate seats are at a disadvantage in 2026 (like the Dems had this year) with many to defend, so you don't want the Democrats/Media to plant their flag on Supremes near an election.
If Thomas and/or Alito are going to retire, the best times would be early 2025 or immediately after the midterms. We do NOT want 2028 to be about the Court.

Also keep in mind, it will entirely depend upon how many senators we have. We still have to deal with those two fricking c*nts Murkowski and Collins.
