From Grace Endress “Hi James! I haven’t seen any officials post this yet, so I thought you might want to share for others that may be affected.

I live in St. Clair county and am registered to vote at Cedar Grove in Leeds. The ballots were incorrectly printed without a local amendment on them, so they are not allowing anyone to vote because of this until they get new ballots. They could not give a time estimation on when to expect new ballots.

My husband and I, and many others, waited in the rain for an hour before they announced this. Many people, including myself, do not have the opportunity to vote in this election now because of their mistake.

According to posters in my Leeds facebook group, this also affecting other voting locations in the area.

Amazing that people want bigger government when even red states can’t figure out the one no brainer item they’re responsible for.

Can anyone explain to me why the Franklin County Board of Education amendment was a statewide amendment on my ballot here in Talladega County?

Argo, Moody and Leeds affected. Not all ballots though. My ex voted in Moody. I voted in Trussville just fine.

Baldwin County has you covered. took 75 minutes at least at the Foley Civic Center at 10 AM, which is between the AM peak and lunchtime.

It will be a madhouse this evening, hope people wait it out, they were moving people along great.

For a point of reference for anyone else, from the front door of the utility building is about 75 minutes. They have a lot of workers, moves quicker than it looks.

I live in St Clair county. They are printing them in Homewood, then shipping them to the main county seat in Ashville which is at the very north end of the country, then they are being distributed from there. I had a senior significantly late to school because he was trying to vote and waited more than 2 hours just to be told the ballots were more than an hour away.

Really? It's always been like that? I either just don't remember or haven't paid attention before. That was the only amendment on my ballot and I read it and was wondering "WTF is this doing here?"

Kiel said the property is located in a heavily trafficked area bordering Alabama Highway 13 which connects Florence to Tuscaloosa and I-22 which connects Memphis to Birmingham. But it cannot currently be sold or leased because it is timberland under management by the Alabama Department of Conservation.

This affects one plot of land for the school in Franklin .....However, this will affect every county in the state for future school locations.

The government at its finest. Biggest day in the government’s year. Have weeks, even months, to get ready for today. They even have mock runs with the early voting days; yet so many reports of shite not working right the 1 day they have been working towards

Have you never voted in Alabama? Almost every election has a local amendment that the entire state votes. It's the reason the Alabama is the longest state constitution by far.
