Has the increase in grocery apps made high end stores less desirable?

Stores like Whole Foods, Target, etc. were always stores that people felt comfortable going into as a better, higher class grocery option as opposed to going to a Walmart, for example. I’m strictly taking about in-person shopping experience, not quality of product.
Walmarts have more of a trashier customer base leading to a shitty in-person shopping experience. People yapping on speaker phone, kids roaming free from their parents, etc.
There are now more and more people picking up for Uber, Instacart, etc. The people who do these apps (shop & deliver) tend to be on the lower end of the spectrum when compared to higher end grocery shoppers.
Are regular higher end grocery store shoppers getting turned off by the influx of shitty shoppers that are now in these stores?
TLDR: shitty customers didn’t shop at high end stores, but now they are because they are shopping for grocery apps;

It also goes the other way. I can get groceries from Walmart pickup and never have to deal with going inside.

The clientele in WF, CostCo, Kroger, Central Market, etc. is noticeably different still.

The store I go to most often is Fresh Market and it's still an enjoyable experience.

Where I live, Whole Foods (and also upscale-ish Food Emporium to a slightly lesser degree) + Trader Joes have become the main supermarkets over the past 5 years. They keep opening new locations and the cheaper chains keep diminishing.
In that regard, Whole Foods seems less and less "upscale" and just "the supermarket".

It probably helps, but the real shitty shoppers aren’t using grocery pick up or delivery.
I refuse to go into Walmart, but thankfully my wife is cheap and handles grocery shopping. I do curbside pick up for her.
frick going into those hell holes.

Wait so you think poor people who couldn’t afford to shop at Luxury stores are now able to because they are paying even more than they would before to have someone else shop in the expensive arse store for them?

I know when Walmart Grocery Pickup started accepting EBT, the clientele turned trashy quick.

Whole Foods isn't nearly as good as it used to be. The Fresh Market, Oak Point, and Sprouts are still nice. I mostly go to Albertsons and HI Nabor. I do delivery from Walmart most of the time, though the WM in Prairieville is ok for shopping.

There is no grocery delivery where I live but I can do curbside pickup at Kroger. It is quick and convenient.

Amazon ruined Whole Foods

I’m saying the shitty shoppers are the ones in the stores picking the orders for instacart etc
So a shitty shopper who would never otherwise shop at Whole Foods is there now making orders for others.

No. Those poor shoppers aren’t buying THEIR groceries from high end stores. They are “working” for instacart and they are in the stores picking orders to then deliver to someone at home.
So poor shoppers who don’t shop there can basically be there now, making the experience for others shitty.

We do Kroger delivery for just about everything except meats. For that we go to Sam’s Club once a month. The instances of having to go to Walmart for anything have gone down to almost zero. It’s fantastic.
And with the Kroger membership we don’t pay for delivery and my wife gets Kroger points she can use of gas at Shell. We stopped the other day to fill up her car and had $1.00 off per gallon.

You must not cook. F. Walmart produce and meat. They do volume over quality. Albertsons is not much better. But less trash. F*** their app. Wait I need another hand to download a savings
