Am getting a patch for cancer pain. Thought I was getting a morphine patch but was misled. Patch dosage will be increase as pain threshold increases. Also found out cancer has reached my brain yesterday. Hug your wife and children.

I'll be OK. Been fighting for a year with chemo(not working). Will start radiation Monday. Just trying to enjoy each day. Just blessed to start watching the weather changing. Love this time of year . I'm taking it lightly for the sake of my family. I told my son about my new patch . He told me to not lay down in the dirt and rub shiet in my hair. Ha! Wife is treating me like Royalty. I'm almost the luckiest man in the world. Anyone else in this situation , feel free to comment anytime.

Meant radiation. Edited.
I have a couple of friends that have suffered brain cancer. They are still kicking its arse well beyond what was expected. They just kept fighting.

May I ask do you have any idea caused the cancer? Were you genuinely healthy before? Sorry if it’s a dumb question but just curious as that sounds really scary

That's a tough hand to be dealt. It sounds like your mind is in the right place. I hope the radiation and the patches work for you.

I pray your faith is with our Father, and that it strengthens you and those you surround yourself, and that you be healed of your cancer.
Great love to you (who I don't know), and your family. Encouragement.

Cause of cancer? Worked in oilfield 40 years. Was around several harmful chemicals(demusifiers). I was a lease operator(pumper). Also dipped skoal and grizzly for 45 years. Mighty hard to watch a LSU game, sit on a deer stand Or go fishing without a dip. Wife knows. Cancer started with 3 small knots on side of neck. Advanced to bones, lungs(small amount), and spine. Will start radiation tuesday on neck and vertebrae. Hopefully to keep me out of a wheelchair. Have all the tools working for me(chemo, radiation, med MJ, ivermectine, milk thissle, fenben, steroids and host of my wifes vitamin cocktails. Time to lay that dip down guys. But I loved every dip. And I have a great wife. And yes, I was very healthy, a 77 years old and could still sling the log. Wife kindly put an end to that. Said sorry, I have too many medicines in me now.
