That first interception he threw he immediately turned his back and essentially ran from contact. He lost all sense of where we were on the field and what could happen if the ball wasn’t completed he just wanted it out his hands so that he wouldn’t get hit.

Same thing with the first pick against ole miss. He was backing up from contact as threw it off will Campbells helmet instead of eating and taking the sack.

It’s just me but he needs to nut up and do the job whether he gets hit or not.

he needs to learn to throw the ball out of bounds or in the dirt instead of forcing a throw that can easily be picked

Nuss is scared of contact. That’s why he doesn’t run the ball!.

Nuss has stood in and taken shots on multiple occasions when he saw blitzes coming. Yeah, he panics and bails sometimes too, but you are over-generalizing here.

He definitely needs to throw balls away rather than putting them up for grabs.

You mean scared instead of scary, right?

Though the argument could be made that he’s both.

He reminds me of 2008 Lee… problem is he’s in his 4th year while the former was thrust into action as a RsFr because of Perriloux

This is essentially his freshman yr...if you want to go off of playing time. Practice means nothing when it comes to actually having game time

My main concern from the first time I saw him here was that he was going to throw pics. I though he had done a good job of suppressing his natural instincts early on this year, but I think he's gotten too many pats on the back for this guts, moxy, whatever you want to call it that he kinda slippped back to his natural tendencies to gunsling. Got away with it in Fayeteville but not Saturday.

He’s just a low IQ QB.

Great talent. Just dumb. At least as aQB. Dunno about his IQ in general.

He is Brett Favre. That’s pretty much it, but scared, but doesn’t like to give up on throwing darts.

I'm not sure I agree on that. I think he probably reads defenses as well as any QB with his level of experience, so to me that's not dumb or low IQ. I think you can be smart and still make bad decisions. And he back foots a bit too much for my liking.

Before he spun out like a wild man, He had an easy check down right in front of him for a 1st down on that play.

3rd & 2. Josh Williams probably gets 10 easy

He's a thrower, not a baller. A baller tries to win the game by any means necessary. He is NOT a baller.

Nuss did not show his normal grit. He was cruising the 1st half. It looked like Theisman against the Cowboys in 1978. Cruising the 1st half. Laughing and joking in the 3rd qtr, then Staubach happened. Theisman choked the rest of the game. I think they were up 10 or 14 points at halftime and lost by 7. You can't get too high in the SEC. It's just like Saban used to preach - rat poison.
Even his best teams could choke on RP. That's what he feared the most. Nuss got too high and lost that focus.
