Thanks for the alert to this in the other thread. Halperin clarifies what story he was shopped against Trump. Kelly says Trump spoke admirable of Hitler.

It's going to be an onslaught from here on out until the end of the election of crazy, anti-Trump articles from everything about him wanting to be Hitler to him being racist. MSM will run with most of them until they are proven incorrect. They've been doing this since he entered the 2016 race, but they will take it to another level in these last few weeks.

Hitler created the Autobahn, the Autobahn is what our interstate highway system is based off of. The interstate highway system is one of the primary elements which helped facilitate growth across the country after WW2 ended.

CBS ran the story from the Atlantic last night even though it was already disproven. Everyone who was there said it was a complete lie, including the soldier's family. They still led with it. Its like they don't even care about what's left of their journalistic integrity (not that there's much left)

The idea that it is impossible to admire anything about Hitler’s general’s is ridiculous. What about if they were good at strategy or actually followed orders. Trump had generals lie to him about troop deployments. As far as I’m concerned that is treason.

Agreed, this board is really, really bad about swallowing BS from people who they know are feeding them BS.
Halperin is an establishment media hack who will immediately go back to the standard positions of MSM if he's given the chance. He's striking out for himself because he harassed too many women and knows that MAGA will give him an audience if he'll play it down the middle on occasion.
He should be summarily disregarded. His motive is to attract a Trump-friendly audience who likes the idea of getting mostly good news for Trump from someone who isn't a Trump advocate. It's an act orchestrated to precisely that end.
