Meaning they need that much time to manufacture the votes.
Florida has their results in time for the 11pm news election night.
Third world nations have their vote results same day.
France, Mexico all same day.
Only reason not to is fraud.

They should say get your votes in before x time period of the polls closing or they don’t count.

The only reason to delay results is fraud. Why are the other states able to do it timely?

The extra day will occur from Nov. 6 - 30 between 3am and 4am each day.

California counts votes for weeks. They stole five congressional seats in 2016 because it just kept counting. It was the ballot harvesting test case for the Democrat party.

It is absolutely fricking ridiculous that the US cannot have nationwide full, complete, and accurate election results by say 4am Hawaiian Time.

Here we go. They don’t have enough water mains to break so they broadcasting ahead of time they need some time to unload the storage units and truck loads of mail in ballots.
