Maybe toughest defense. However I watched State put up some decent offensive drives and they are terrible

Their DL is stout, which plays right into our hands

Maybe. We'll find out in less than a week.

Being afraid of aggie is beyond gay though.

Ole Miss is the best D we will play during the regular season, IMO.

I’d say yes. A&M beat the hell out of Missouri and beat UF. UF is playing much better than expected. They have won 6 in a row. OM only good win was SC

8 ints this year. Expect to control the ball with ground game, play hard defense, and limit LSU offense to as few downs as possible.

We will have to start fast to get them out of their game plan. Make their QB throw.

I’ve watched both OM and A&M and those total defense rankings are trash. A&M has played 4 sec teams and ND. OM hasn’t really played any good offenses except LSU

Statistically OM D is better. They gave up almost 400 yards to Arkansas at home.

We have to score TOUCHDOWNS in the red zone.

Agree. Ole Miss was also an offensive juggernaut until they played a team with a pulse.

A&M is good, and it's a night game at Kyle Field, which wasn't kind to LSU on the last visit, even with Jimbo on their sideline. LSU will have to play really well.

FWIW we’ve put the most points up on both USCe and Ole Miss. Hopefully we’ll continue that trend at A&M.

Ole Miss has a better offense, especially at QB. A&M will be more physical.

USCe has a better front 4 on defense, especially at DE. But A&M definitely has the best overall defense and the best defensive coaching we will have seen to this point.

At least for awhile it’s going to be the most hostile and loudest stadium we have played in to date this year.

South Carolina has a great atmosphere and can be loud as well, but A&M being a night game, having an additional 20,000 to 25,000 people, both teams being ranked, both being undefeated in the SEC, and both on 6 game winning streaks it will loud as long as game is in question.

Speaking of Kyle Field when I spent some time around the outside of it a few years ago I was impressed how on the outside they made differently built sections look fairly similar on the outside. Almost did as well as Bama did in that regards. I wish Tiger Stadium had gone this route a little more over the years.

In the past few years since then they have redone the practice facilities including the indoor field while still keeping it next to stadium without any streets in between and built a park along the east side of the stadium.

A&M still has many buildings that must have been built during the Cold War and look completely bland (almost Soviet built), but if you haven’t been there in awhile the campus will look better and newer than most here will describe it. 1st Bush’s library is there as well. If Texas would build a decent highway or interstate between 35 and 45 that crosses near Bryan it would make trips there easier and at least to me safer as Apple Maps must have wanted to do me in on trip there.

Nightlife, restaurants, and hotels - I have no clue and likely be hit or miss depending on tastes. I stayed at the hotel next to stadium as it during the summer and easy to get. There was a newer retail development next to the NE part of campus with some of this (century something), but I didn’t go there.

Also with LSU’s football ops, new basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, rec fields, and the students in dorms across Nicholson I also wish as part of any new basketball arena LSU would build something to walk & bike over or under Nicholson and also the train tracks. A&M built a couple of places like this to cross over to their west campus which also has a train track and maybe a busier street going in between. A cousin mentioned A&M had some student deaths crossing the tracks, and I think Nicholson has had one or two in the past. If new basketball arena gets built on golf course it will have more students crossing along with so many other facilities across Nicholson already and the added traffic after concerts that LSU needs to look at doing something similar for the students.
