Any suggestions for favorite vineyards to visit in this area?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Paso Robles is high on my list to visit but have not been.
I have looked into it a bit as a wine nerd and have read that Adelaida, Eberle, and Broken Earth are good visits
Tablas Creek of course makes great wine

I like Law Estate and I like Tablas Creek. Both have nice setups. Eberle’s cave setup/tour is cool.
Herman Story is an interesting place in the town and has some very interesting wines. They have a wine tasting room, but it’s not a vineyard since it’s in the middle of town. Their official directions are “we are between the tire shop and the welding place.”

Booker Vineyards. Did a private tasting in the vineyards itself. They dropped us off under an oak tree with 2 bottles of wine and a charcuterie basket. We then did a tasting at the end. Amazing

Are you wanting mainstream or boutique?
I highly suggest putting a few boutique wineries on your list as the wines turned out are quite amazing.

Another vote for Tablas Creek.

Eberle and Daou. Eberle is owned by an LSU graduate. He is usually there.
He got an undergraduate degree from Penn State and masters from LSU.
Castoro is nice too.

I spent a week there a couple of years ago when LSU played UCLA in Pasadena. We watched Hurricane Ida hit on television from our room at the Paso Robles Inn on the square which I recommend.
Daou was our favorite winery on the strength of its beautiful setting on top of a mountain overlooking the vineyards. Make reservations in advance for the tasting. You can’t get on the premises without a reservation.
Our favorite smaller winery was Calcareous. We had a good lunch there in conjunction with our tasting.
Justin is another good winery in a nice setting.
Donatti and Turley are two more good ones right across the street from each other.
Lots of excellent restaurants in Paso Robles.
Everything is right on, or just off of the town square.

Booker Vineyards
Booker is a good producer. Never been out there to see their place, but if I were going it would be the first place I looked at.

Adelaida, Dilecta, Booker, Tablas Creek! Law's tasting room is closed...it's the best juice in that part of the world!

Damn is this permanent? We went there quite a few times when I had to work in Bako. Their staff was really nice and their wine was very good.

It's open to members of wine club...by appointment only!
