Israel can locate targets in other countries, but can't locate hostages?

not sure if anyone else has had this perplexing thought, but i've been thinking for a while now... if Israel can kill hamas/hezbollah leaders with intel and kill them with precision missiles/bombs, how are they not able to locate hostages in an area that they have complete surveillance over?
they've controlled the Gaza strip in terms of all supplies that enter/exit as well as all people that cross into Israeli territory for many years, so how are they not able to find their hostages?
is Israel using the hostages as a pre-text to expand their war efforts and grab more land?
something is very off

Sorry for your loss Hamas bro. Let me know if there is anything I can do in these dark times. Here for you.

They likely have better intel on hostile targets than hostages who haven’t been seen. We also don’t know if there are hostages still alive.

No.

Yes, but it's not something that's off, it's someone.. and that someone is you.

You ****ing miserable conspiracy theorist, anti-semitic numb skull!

Perhaps the gracious terrorists have not yet provided the hostage's cell phones, pagers, walkie-talkies or MacBook Pros with Starlink internet to help locate them yet.

any actual response to the question?

The hostages are dead.
Bibi likely knows this and is using it to his advantage whether anyone likes it or not.

Once you go that rabbit hole you will wonder how they didn't know this was coming. Why they still chose to pull troops from the border with multiple countries warning them of the plans they are hearing about. Why they would hold a concert drawing an international crowd right near the spot of attack. It's almost as if this was all part of the plan so they could finally pave Gaza over.

Who says they don't know where they are? Maybe they are in too dangerous of a situation where attempting to free them would almost certainly result in their death?

I've seen no actual question. Just a conspiracy theory seeking to further an Anti Israeli agenda.

Your imagination.

you do realize they have been makin an effort to track these known terrorists for years, if not decades, right?
The hostages weren't singled out and known about to track until they became hostages.

how is it possible that a country (i.e. Israel) has intel on the whereabouts of leaders and is able to kill them with precision missiles/strikes in other countries, but can't locate israeli hostages that border an area that they've surveilled for the past 15+ years?

Ah the old proRegressive trope of "anyone that doesn't go along with state propaganda is literally Hitler!".

Bibi doesn't give a shite about hostages. Worse yet, if he got them, he would feel even more pressure to end his genocide campaign.
There's a pretty good effort in Israel attempting to put pressure on him to actually get the hostages, hence his latest "hostage" rhetoric.
It's not covered in the US, but there's lots of unhappy Israeli citizens with Bibi's war campaign. He's not doing near as well controlling his own media as he (and our warlords) are doing in the US.
And by the way, Israel can't do shite without the US. Without your and my borrowed tax dollars. Add the trillions to our kids' tabs.

I've wondered this since the day it happened. They let a bunch of terrorists run rough shod through they're country and they stood down while it happened. Now to the op, I assume the hostages are dead.

probably because they killed them
