The following is a summary of NYT, WaPo, NPR, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN…

Conclusion: The interview is a good strategy that’s paying off for Kamala; it’s a success.

Main Points:

She took on a hostile interviewer on an openly pro Trump network.

She succeeded in distancing herself from Biden to a Republican audience.

She directly reached out and appealed to Republicans.

She nailed Baier when he tried to use a selectively edited video of Trump, just absolutely crushed him by calling him on it.

She was polite but direct and refused to be bullied.

When pressed on immigration, she successfully pointed out that Trump Republicans killed border security, not her.

She showed that she was fully prepared, something that critics have hit her on; this time, she nailed it.

She successfully pointed out all the Republican support she is getting, along with support from respected intelligence and military leaders.

She successfully pointed out Trump’s dangerous statements about how he will use the military to attack Americans.

She successfully mitigated the trans issue by pointing out how most Americans have bigger, real concerns and Trump followed the law just like she did and will continue to do regarding trans issues.

She succeeded in showing herself to be tough, knowledgeable, and in bringing her message to a Republican base.

Read through the thread to see quotes from the stories summarized above.

She took on a hostile interviewer on an openly pro Trump network.
True

She succeeded in distancing herself from Biden to a Republican audience.
False

She directly reached out and appealed to Republicans.
This is a stretch

She nailed Baier when he tried to use a selectively edited video of Trump, just absolutely crushed him by calling him on it.
Agree

She was polite but direct and refused to be bullied.
True

When pressed on immigration, she successfully pointed out that Trump Republicans killed border security, not her.
This is such BS

She showed that she was fully prepared, something that critics have hit her on; this time, she nailed it.
Mostly True

She successfully pointed out all the Republican support she is getting, along with support from respected intelligence and military leaders.
Whatever Brah "Republicans"

She successfully pointed out Trump’s dangerous statements about how he will use the military to attack Americans.
"Americans" This is wildly misleading

She successfully mitigated the trans issue by pointing out how most Americans have bigger, real concerns and Trump followed the law just like she did and will continue to do regarding trans issues.
This was interesting, needs to be looked into.

She succeeded in showing herself to be tough, knowledgeable, and in bringing her message to a Republican base.
She's not an idiot, and I think she did as good as any Dem could with their garbage.

Propaganda is a key component of a communist takeover.

It’s as if people have forgotten 2020 altogether.

Guess we gotta go through it again.
Lotta people will once more cognitively disassociate what is happening.

Polls tight.
Media messaging and controlling thought/ language.

Voting systems remain frail and unauditable.

Okaaaaay. Let’s run it back.

Some quotes and screens from the stories…

quote:

About half-way through the intense 30-minute interview, Baier asked Harris a question she didn’t answer very well in more friendly interviews last week on The View and on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert: What would she do differently from President Biden? This time, she was prepared. “My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden's presidency, and like every new president that comes into office, I will bring my life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas,” Harris said. “I represent a new generation of leadership.”

quote:

Harris ventured onto the openly pro-Trump network on a mission to reach moderate Republicans after earlier in the day appearing with more than 100 Republicans, including former Trump administration officials who have endorsed her. She took every opportunity she could to mention those endorsements and made sure to reference former President Donald Trump’s recent remarks referring to Democrats as “the enemy within.” He has also said he might have to use the military to handle that enemy.

quote:

Baier played a different section of Trump’s response for Harris, one in which Trump insisted he isn't threatening anyone. “They're the ones doing the threatening,” Trump told Fox host Harris Faulkner. “They do phony investigations. I've been investigated more than Alphonse Capone was.” This produced an indignant response from Harris. “With all due respect, that clip was not what he has been saying about the enemy within,” Harris said, with her volume rising. “You and I both know that he has talked about turning the American military on the American people, he has talked about going after people who are engaged in peaceful protest,” Harris said. “He has talked about locking people up because they disagree with him. This is a democracy and in a democracy, the president of the United States, in the United States of America, should be willing to be able to handle criticism without saying he would lock people up for doing it.”

quote:

"We feel like we definitely achieved what we set out to achieve in the sense that she was able to reach an audience that’s probably been not exposed to the arguments she’s been making on the trail," said Brian Fallon, a top Harris campaign aide. "And she also got to show her toughness in standing tall against a hostile interviewer.”

quote:

Harris expressed sympathy for the parents of young women killed in the U.S. by undocumented immigrants, but didn’t accept blame as Baier pressed her to do. She repeatedly referred back to a bipartisan border security deal that failed to pass after Trump called on Republicans to tank it.

quote:

Harris also said in the interview that a second Trump term could undermine the rule of law, adding that the Republican nominee was unable to "handle criticism." "You and I both know that he has talked about turning the American military on the American people," Harris continued.

quote:

Baier also challenged the vice president over the provision of transgender health care for people in prison, referencing a Trump campaign ad that raised the topic. The vice president said, "I will follow the law," adding that federal regulations mean equal access to health care is a legal requirement.

quote:

The Democratic candidate’s first appearance on the conservative network formed part of a direct appeal to right-leaning voters, after she was joined by more than 100 Republicans at a campaign event in Pennsylvania earlier in the day. The interview was combative, with Harris, towards the end, speaking over Baier as she asked him to interview her “grounded in full assessment of the facts”, while calling him out for playing clips that she said were not relevant to what they were discussing.

quote:

Harris was asked when she first noticed that Biden’s “mental faculties appeared diminished”, but the vice-president responded by saying that the president had the judgment and experience to do what needs to be done on behalf of the American people. She added that the people who knew Trump best have said he is unfit to be president ever again, adding: “Joe Biden is not on the ballot and Donald Trump is.”

quote:

Baier questioned whether the Biden-Harris administration was “acting like Iran is the number one threat”. The vice-president said she had worked with the heads of the military to do what America must always do, which is to allow Israel to have the resources to defend itself from attack, “including from Iran and Iran’s terrorist proxies in the region. And my commitment to that is unwavering”. Pushing back against Baier’s line of questioning, Harris at one point said, “I would like if we could have a conversation that is grounded in a full assessment of the facts.”

quote:

Of Trump, Harris said, “People are exhausted with someone who professes to be a leader and who spends full-time demeaning and engaging in personal grievances.” She added, “He’s not stable.” She also sought to focus Fox viewers on Trump’s talk of “the enemy within” and threats to punish political rivals.

quote:

Harris was also pressed on her position on using taxpayer funds for gender-affirming surgery for transgender inmates, including those who are undocumented. Trump has spent millions of dollars on ads on the subject in battleground states. “I will follow the law,” she said, but noted that the US Bureau of Prisons provided gender-affirming treatments under Trump. She accused him of “throwing stones when you live in a glass house”.

Her supporters love it. That's fine. She didn't go on Fox News for her own supporters.

She went on Fox News to reach people she has a more difficult time reaching. She did nothing at all to even get those people to consider voting for her.

She shrunk the pool of voters who might be willing to consider voting for her.

It was a gamble. It did not work.

State ran media. She essentially dropped her pants, squatted and took a shart on national TV.

I've never seen anything like this.

Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday hammered former President Donald Trump as thin-skinned and a threat to U.S. democracy in a combative interview with Fox News. The interview marked an opportunity for Harris to appear on a pro Trump network that frequently criticizes her and praises her opponent, a notable moment after Republicans had panned her for only granting interviews with friendly reporters or podcasters. True to form, the interview was testy throughout, including multiple exchanges in which Fox News anchor Bret Baier repeatedly spoke over her.

quote:

The Vice President described Trump as dangerous for the country as he escalates his rhetoric about internal threats from Americans, including "radical left lunatics," raising concerns about how he'd use the military in a future administration. ”You and I both know that he has talked about turning the American military on the American people. He has talked about going after people who are engaged in peaceful protest. He has talked about locking people up because they disagree with him," Harris told the Fox News host. "This is a democracy, and in a democracy the president of the United States in the United States of America, should be willing to be able to handle criticism without saying he'd lock people up for doing it," she said.

quote:

Harris also fleshed out the differences Americans would see between President Joe Biden's administration and her theoretical term in the White House, offering several examples after Republicans seized on her answer on ABC's "The View" last week that "not a thing that comes to mind" when asked what she would have done something differently from Biden over the past four years.

quote:

Harris specifically raised her plans to offer increased housing assistance to first-time home buyers and provide funds to start small businesses. Still, she added that her administration would mark a turning of the page from what she called the divisiveness of the Trump era in U.S. politics. “You have been vice president for three and a half years, so, what are you turning the page from?” Baier asked. Her election would mark a change, she said, "from the last decade in which we have been burdened with the kind of rhetoric coming from Donald Trump that has been designed and implemented to divide our country and have Americans literally point fingers at each other.".

Baier pointed out that Marxist leftists like Corey Booker and Bernie Sanders voted against the bill because it allowed 1.3M illegals into the nation unabated every year.

She was unable to deflect that one, or any of the others.

Glad they came together on the same page with their talking points, though. Once again removing any doubt of gaslighting/psyop complicity.

Anyone who wouldn't watch the actual interview because it's on FOX, but who would care about what MSM says about the interview, is already voting for Kamala.

Anyone who isn't sure who to vote for and actually watches the interview isn't voting for Kamala.

But thanks for repeating and distributing the MSM's propaganda for them.

There’s Pravda’s coordinated spin and then there are people who actually watched the interview.

People who watched the interview know Pravda is full of shite (as they always are).

Easy there. I agree with you that this is the case in every other election.

This is interesting so you have to think this was their strategy all along.

Have her go do an interview that many won't watch and then tell everyone what to think.

It's worked every other time. Why won't it work now. We are the dems. We control the media. We control google. We control the search engines. They will shadow ban whatever they don't want or there.

But there is one thing they aren't thinking about.

X

What happens is they see a few clips on x and realize that everyone is lying to them. That all it takes. And then it hurts them more there they lied to everyone.

Or so I hope. It's the first time. But I've already heard from a number of young people saying I've seen clips from the interview. It was bad.

That's all it will take in many cases.
