After going up on the tigers 14-0 in Baton Rouge, LSU managed to outscore Bobby Petrino’s Arkansas squad 41-3 the rest of the way. Les went in for the post game handshake and Petrino, apparently furious that Les ran the score up on him, backed away and said “frick you, motherfricker”.
Everything he’s gotten since then has been deserved. Let’s piss him off again this weekend.

Yeah I was about to say, Houston Nutt was mad at Les for kneeling too early a game or 2 before (because #MettScored, never forget).

how did we run up the score? Our last TD was a 50 yard TD run to go up by 3 scores with 10 minutes remaining, and then we kicked a FG with 5 minutes left to make it a 24 point game. Arkansas was the #3 team in the country - were we supposed to let them stay in the game?

That Ole Miss mercy knee sequence was such a dick move I can't really remember anything like that before

I think it was the field goal he took issue with but who knows.
Remember, this was still the BCS era and margin of victory was a factor in the rankings. I think Bama beat Arkansas by 24 that year, so Les wanted to match it.

Iirc, the qb called a naked bootleg on his own rather than a run up the middle. This pissed miles off so he did this to make sure the O didn’t score more to show them who was boss than to embarrass ole miss.
