Hopefully he comes back full strength, fun athlete.

Damn, that's a major loss for the Lions, especially considering they're one of the teams with a legit shot at competing for the title..

Damn..just absolutely hate it for him. Great young player and still a lot ahead of him. All the best for his recovery.

Damn that's horrible for him and the Lions.

Emergency surgery
Never a good sign. Terrible, not only for the Lions this season, but also for Hutchinson’s future.

Taking everything into account, IMO the most devastating injury for a franchise since C-Webb’s 2003 meniscus injury.

I don't see why he couldn't come back.
Other athletes have had similar injuries. The last one with a star I can think of is Paul George.

Huh? Goff would be a bigger injury on this very team.

Hope the young man recovers successfully and able to play again in the future.
That nasty snap reminds me of Theismann years ago or Alex Smith in more recent eras so playing again someday is not necessarily a given.

it's always a DAMN good Michigan trench guy. last year it was Zak Zinter against OSU who snapped his leg in the 3rd Q

That’s some Tim Krumrie shite right there

Of course he can come back, but it’s far from guaranteed.
Dak snapped his ankle on the same field in 2020. I don’t think many realize he still undergoes extensive rehab early every morning just for practice. He’s no longer a serious running threat.
Hutchinson comes off the edge every play, and that requires a lot of torque and pressure on the lower extremities. He was a dominant player before the injury. It’s going to be a long road back to that level.

Yeah these gruesome bone breaks are often better than major ligament damage long term
