EV charger for my house?

Finally broke down and leased my wife a Cadillac Lyriq (fricking amazing ride) and now I need to expand my driveway and install a charging point.
I’m completely sold on electric vehicles after a weekend with this car.
So who do I talk to about getting the charging point at my house?
I get a $1500 rebate/credit from GM so now I need to figure out how/who/what to do next…
Anyone with experience?

I already Angi’d it and realized I don’t have the unit or whatever for him to install and I can imagine he’d come with his own to install
I need the step before that..

You can buy them online easily. And just have an electrician install it

Well, you aren't undercover anymore.

Just find an electrician to come install it. Cost me $500 and took him about 2 hours.

If you're asking about an EV station then there's quite a few options. I have a chargepoint at my house and it works fine and has an app. You don't have to have a station, you could just get a 240v outlet put in, but if you do get a station just hardwire it in and eliminate the failure point of an outlet.

Is this your way of coming out as gay?

At one point GM was adding a level 2 charger with their EV purchases. Is this not the case anymore?

I got the rivian R1S last weekend. Installed rivian charger at my home. 370 miles for 100% range.

Leased. Cadillac. EV. Never go full retard. And if you do, don't post it on the internet.

It has over 300. IIRC GM suggests max 80% charge for daily driving so that is around 250.

You can prob just run an extension cord to your kitchen or den

I got the Emporia charger off Amazon. It works perfect. An electrician installed mine. Your credit will cover all of it. Don’t tell them about your credit though.

Really seems like the kind of thing you'd research before buying an EV.
