McElroy is becoming unbiased and balanced and McDonough called out Kiffens fake injuries several times.

Would much prefer this twosome than Tessitore and Palmer.

Agreed. I was meh when I saw the lineup but they were awesome. And like you said called out the fake injuries as well as the “indisputable evidence” on the Thomas TD change and gave the targeting call on Weeks a fair shake

Agree. Loved how they made it a point to call out the fake injury BS. Great announcer team.

They have done that multiple times this year. It’s a sticky situation when it comes to injuries but they have called a spade a spade.

McDonough is as good as it gets as a play by play announcer. Tessitore should be at a circus trying to atrract people to let him guess their weight.

My only compliant was they kept making it seem like LSU was only in the game because Ole Miss kept screwing it. That was a top 15 matchup and both teams were pretty good, it wasn’t a unranked vs ranked game.

Yes, they screwed up some stuff, but the crowd was a factor and LSU played tough. Both teams had a missed FG, both teams turned it over on downs. LSUs defense came to play, which was a major reason we won.

Tessitore and Palmer are great! What did they do to offend you?

If McDonough would pull his mic about a half inch back from his mouth he'd be perfect always sounds like the mix is in his throat

Whenever he calls an LSU game, something cool happens.

I think McElroy respects LSU as a program.
And agreed, I was glad we didn’t get Herbie. Enjoyed this duo.

You are kidding me right? If not I will say Palmer is insightful but his partner is unbearable.

McElroy has been unbiased. If anything, he’s usually pro-LSU and has been for years. I really like him as a commentator, he knows his stuff and provides good insight.

Yes. I love when McDonough calls our games for this reason.

McDonough has been around forever. I was at the Saints/Cowboys game in Dallas back in 1991 and he called that game for CBS. His dad was Will McDonough and he was on NBC for years as well.

He had the national radio call of the Sid Bream slide at home to send the Braves to the World Series in 1992.
