They did not play Neck and haven't for several years. Students are just good at improvising STTDB into other tunes.

The band might as well play it because the student section gets the STTDB chant going throughout the stadium to any or no music.

It is not Neck. They have not played it in years. How can people still think it is Neck after all these years. It is three or four different songs with similar beats.

So then play it during commercial breaks so the student section and fans get it out of their system, and LSU doesn't get fined. How hard is that to do?
And before the holier than though fans show up and talk about "class" 95% of the fans have been drinking for 8 hours before the game starts, sneaking whiskey in a boot to keep drinking during the game. The 15 of you who like each other's Neck post about being classy who probably watch the game from your trailer park sofa need to really self evaluate, and also wonder why I student section leaves at half time for most games

At a few points in the game the entire stadium sang it and it was super clear. My kid looked at me and goes “you can’t hid it from me now, dad” with a big grin on his face 
. I just laughed because what else can you do? It pumps up the crowd and even though as a parent I don’t like my kids being subjected to it, the alum in me who used to sing that loud as possible still appreciates it and I love that it pumps them up.
Let them do it. My kid hears far worse at school.

On tv they zoomed in on the golden girls one time. The girl closest to the screen had a cooter so fat it cast a shadow on her feet.
