2nd to bottom guy, Notre dame affiliated. LSU - Not Ranked, people who are biased because of personal agenda should be removed of voting privileges. Even Koki Riley has LSU at #12 so clearly no bias from our affiliated voter.

I don’t think they will be ranked nowhere near there at the end of the season but that is not where they are now.

That’s pretty bad. Everyone else has LSU ranked in the top 20 and that guy didn’t even put LSU on his ballot at all. That’s not a mistake, that’s clearly someone biased against Brian Kelly.

Someone who has LSU unranked might need their privileges revoked. That's almost as bad (not really, but still) as when Saban used his coach's poll vote in 2011 to screw Oklahoma State over (he had them at 5 or something), and that influenced the BCS formula.

I agree wholeheartedly except the poll itself is meaningless. You or I could publish our own rankings and it would carry the same weight

none of these silly voter polls matter. Ignore them all.
The only thing that matters is either winning the SEC and getting a bye, or getting in the playoffs as an at-large.
Those decisions are made by the Selection Committee, and I seriously doubt they'll pay attention to silly voter polls, and everyone knows the voters put VERY little time doing their rankings.
Voter polls are a relic from the past - give them zero attention.
The only thing that matters is either winning the SEC and getting a bye, or getting in the playoffs as an at-large.

The amount of people that have Notre Dame in the top 10 is completely insane to me. So LSU's only loss being a close one to a mediocre USC team, IN THE FIRST GAME OF THE YEAR in Vegas, is seen as worse than ND's NIU loss at home? Are you telling me ND beating TAMU in their first game, WITH A BRAND NEW HC, is a reason for this? TAMU week one is not TAMU week 6. TAMU almost lost to freaking Bowling Green. They beat Arkansas off the stupidity of that team.

The AP poll is meaningless. Nobody is playing for the AP trophy. There will be no playoff based on it. It’s just a bunch of yahoo writers who mostly never played the game who mostly didn’t even watch the teams they’re ranking. For crying out loud, their no 1 and no 4 both got beaten by unranked teams this weekend and their number 9 got crushed by their number 24.
There are literally no consequences whatsoever to being in or out of that poll and their rankings are demonstrably jacked.

The fact that it doesn't matter doesn't mean that explicit bias shouldn't be pointed out for even an irrelevant poll.
