Sean Vincent Gillis (born June 24, 1962) is an American serial killer and sex offender who murdered eight women in and around Baton Rouge, Louisiana, from 1994 until his arrest in April 2004. In his initial arrest, he was charged with three counts of first degree murder and three counts of ritualistic acts in the murders of 29-year-old Katherine Hall, 45-year-old Johnnie Mae Williams and 43-year-old Donna Bennett Johnston. Gillis confessed to the murders with little coercion and then informed investigators about five other women whom he had murdered.[1]

I saw the story on one of the crime show channels
His girlfriend he was living with had no earthly idea and said he was the absolute nicest guy she had ever met. They were together for years.
Gillis was a small, geeky dude that had an addiction to prostitutes while his girlfriend was at work. His rendezvous usually wound up in murder.
I still can’t believe how well some people can wear the mask faking people out while the true person behind said mask is so dark and evil.

I lived 5 doors down from this dude. I had two friends sleeping over the night he was apprehended. It was the middle of the night, and we heard a loud boom - thought a transformer blew nearby. Saw the giant satetlite up high the next day from a news van, and surprise.... dude had a victim in the trunk when he was caught if i remember correctly. That was after my freshmen year at Kirby Smith. My college career was off to a shaky start to say the least

Didn't Louisiana have 3 serial killers that were active at the same time?

It wasn't solved here. A guy who posted here, his sister was dating the guy who killed Mickey Shunick. The guy who posted here, when his sister brought the dude over to a family event, his dad noticed some something on the guy that was made public.. I forget all the details, but the guy just told the board what happened.
Where is Mickey Shunick's Killer?
This is an article about the situation.
