Israel 4th invasion of Lebanon.

Today, they brought in the special forces and went in (around 400 meters deep). They suffered 8 deaths, 39 injuries and 3 destroyed Merkava before retreating back (condolences to FatBastard). Ynet
I'm somehow conflicted about this war (being that both parents are originally from Lebanon). On one hand, we have Hezbollah, a brutal autocratic organization. On the other hand, Lebanon is being invaded is being invaded by a foreign country.

If terrorists were in Mexico and striking the US, we sure a frick would have the right to go in if Mexico won't put a stop to it.

Lebanon is being "invaded" because they are allowing an organized terrorist army to launch attacks against Israel. If Lebanon is unwilling or unable to address the issue, then what option is left for Israel?
Just allow it's country and people to be targets?

Sorry to hear about your home country for your sake and the sake of the good people there but this shite needs to get taken care of since Lebanon has no real way to do it.

Lebanon is allowing its sovereign land to be used as a platform for terrorist attacks. When a country makes a misstep in moral thinking then it opens itself up to retaliation by the ones being terrorized.

How about have the IDF occupy the place for about 5 years, clean out the bad actors, then install a friendly Christian government and leave.

I have no idea what to believe. MSM will say no Israelis were hurt. Israeli media seems more honest.

I don't think Israel has much appetite for casualties in Lebanon. They called it a limited invasion for a reason. If too many get killed they will declare mission accomplished and withdraw.

We don't claim a god given right to conquer the land of Mexico and displace their ppl due to their inferior birthright. This is what Israel has done since 1948 when they were handed land that wasn't theirs. There has (rightly so) been resistance ever since considering that is a wholly unrighteous dogma and is incompatible with modern civilization. Apples to oranges bro. Many Lebanese christians have been displaced. Close to a quartermillion just in the past month.
