Sources indicate the team made a quick flight to Cincinnati after the game to grab some dinner and clear their heads and made it back to Houston safely for bed
I’m also hearing that if we are victorious, Miss Carol will be making a surprise appearance on the post game show. Hoping Ryno can reach out to some of @ASTROSBAW’s contacts to confirm if this is true

Who does a bullpen game in game 2 of a playoff series?? And the Astros have more than enough superior pitching to cover 18 innings.
The Astros should win the next two easily and advance.
But if they don't, I'm at peace with it. Because if they do lose one of the next two, it will be due to reasons that we all knew would eventually doom them at some point anyway.

What I was saying in the other thread, but worded better
When you have the bullpen they do, using JW today is not a disadvantage in a short series, IMO
Best record in MLB since mid Aug. They didn't do that throwing Skubal every game. Their lineup has something ours doesn't, WANT
Of course I'm not referring to the bottom of ours. Their issue is LOFT. You golfers will know what I mean.

I generally pull for the Astros but I am here for the side entertainment of watching the melt in this thread. I also enjoy the Braves threads for the same reason.

I don't think there will be much melt in here if we lose. Those who have been watching this team all year are well aware of its flaws. We have the pitching to make a deep run, but the Jekyll and Hyde lineup and terrible home playoff performance were well known.

They're the 2015 Astros and it's not yet their time! This should be their practice run. We need them to sit down and wait a few years.

The backup catcher is the regular first baseman in the playoffs. What a spectacular organizational failure.
